Project Overview
In 2021, DM Roofing and Roughcasting collaborated with the RAD Hotel Group as the main contractor to complete the roofing and plasterwork for newly built luxury lodges at the renowned Lochside House Hotel.
Building Background
These lodges are a recent addition to the famous Lochside House Hotel, known for its high-class service and picturesque location. The project aimed to expand the hotel’s offerings with modern, bespoke timber lodges.
Project Challenges
DM Roofing has a longstanding relationship with the RAD Hotel Group, and this project was another testament to their ongoing expansion and renovation efforts. The primary challenge was to maintain the high standards of quality and service that RAD Hotel Group is known for, while integrating modern roofing and drainage solutions into the bespoke lodge design.
Scope of Work
Roofing:
The project involved the installation of modern set size Spanish slates, ensuring a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish. The UPVC rainwater (RW) systems were also installed to ensure effective water drainage.
Timber Lodge Design:
The bespoke timber lodge design required precise workmanship to integrate the new roofing seamlessly with the unique architectural elements of the lodges.
Plasterwork:
DM Roofing also carried out internal plaster works on all internal faces, ensuring a high-quality finish that complements the luxurious interiors of the lodges.
Outcome
The completion of the Lochside Lodges project added a new dimension of luxury to the Lochside House Hotel. The modern roofing and plasterwork, combined with the bespoke timber lodge design, enhance the overall guest experience.
